I love paper! Some people collect dolls, plates, coins, nope I collect paper! There’s so many neat and interesting things you can make with it! Origami is my new-found love. Well, not new, but within the last few years! These origami sea creatures and invitations were my favorite part of his Under The Sea Birthday Party! Everything was made from paper! If I had a favorite type it would be vellum paper. It’s so pretty and slightly transparent. Learning all the fold was so much fun, but ouch — my fingers hurt! All the paper cuts were definitely worth it!

Seahorse was my favorite! He was the most challenging too!
I just adore this Clam!
Tropical Fish was swimming around the party!
Moorish Idle was very interesting to watch. He’s different, but super cool!
Butterfly Fish is so beautiful! I love her electric blue color!
Squid is funny I just love his little goggly eyes and legs!
Sea Turtle was C’s favorite! He really moved in the underwater scene.
Manta Ray was the coolest by far! All the kids wanted to take him home.
Here’s the underwater scene with origami sea creatures, coral garland, seaweed, wave streamers.
